AKC Canine Good Citizen Test

Dogs passing the CGC test will be eligible to receive Canine Good Citizen certification. Guardians must send in the passing test form to the American Kennel Club to receive the actual AKC Canine Good Citizen Certificate.

Items necessary for testing:

Accepting a friendly stranger
Sitting politely for petting
Appearance & Grooming
Out for a walk (Loose Leash)
Walking through a crowd
Sit and Down on command/ Staying in place
Come when called
Reaction to another dog
Reaction to distractions
Supervised Separation
